John D Wood charity football tournament imageFor the third year running staff from John D Wood & Co., joined by their Faron Sutaria colleagues, took part in Glass Door’s annual Sleep Out in Chelsea, raising £10,000 for the West London homeless charity.

Glass Door co-ordinates shelter and support for homeless people with churches across West London. The money will go towards funding night shelters, hot food and drinks for the homeless and providing year-round daytime services.

Tim Lawler, Area Director of John D Wood & Co. said, “I am thrilled that, with my colleagues at John D Wood & Co. and Faron Sutaria we managed to raise over £10,000 for Glass Door.  This money will help those in a less fortunate place than us and offer the homeless the chance to get support to move off the streets for good. Thank you for your generous donations and to Becky Evans at Glass Door who helped organise the event.”

Steven Platts, COO of Glass Door says, “This event was the largest to date and raised over £150,000.
