The funding round has been led by Carphone Warehouse Founder Sir Charles Dunstone and his business partner Roger Taylor.

HouseSimple’s technology and data-led approach means they consistently outperform high street and other online estate agents. They are 40% more likely to successfully sell, in 50% less time, and at 99% of asking price. And HouseSimple is able to do this at a fraction of the cost of the high street, saving UK home sellers on average £5,594 in fees – and London sellers more than £14,000 in fees.

Over the past 12 months, HouseSimple has firmly established itself as the second largest online estate agent in the UK. Word of mouth from highly satisfied customers has propelled substantial growth, with property listings trebling in the past year.
