Kamma raises £3.6 million to tackle Net Zero in UK homes
Co-Founder Orla Shields says the investment will support expansion of Kamma’s property data engine providing the insights needed to deliver Net Zero.
Clean Growth Fund, the UK clean tech venture capital fund, has led a £3.6m investment in Kamma, the property data and analytics business.
The investment will fund the expansion of Kamma’s property data engine that acquires, integrates, and calibrates thousands of property data points in order to deliver optimal routes to achieve Net Zero in the UK property sector.
PROPERTY POLLUTER
The UK property sector is the second largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK, with buildings and construction responsible for around 25% of all emissions.
But it is also one of the slowest sectors in the UK economy to decarbonise due to widely out-of-date and inaccurate property data.
Kamma’s engine uses multiple sources to provide the most accurate and up-to-date climate data available, quantifying the full emissions footprint of residential property and allowing for individual retrofit requirements to be determined.

Alongside Clean Growth Fund, the other investors in the funding round are Triple Point and Pi Labs (both follow-on investors) plus Conduit EIS Impact Fund and Kiilto Ventures.
