The need for information among home buyers in the current turbulent climate has been revealed after Zoopla today announced that it has signed up 275,000 people to its latest ‘Zooploma’.

The six-week online includes advice on many of the market trends and government measure announced during the Covid pandemic such as the rise of working from home, the Stamp Duty holiday and a reduced need to commute to work.

But the advice, delivered via 16 emails, also helps on more mundane matters including how much money they can save when moving home, how to budget and an explanation of how house price estimates work.

knight“It’s often difficult to anticipate hurdles when it comes to a property purchase or sale, and no transaction is the same, but the Zooploma is there to answer and resolve questions that many hadn’t even considered,” says Adam Knight, Head of CRM at Zoopla (left).

“Demand for property shows no sign of abating and, with more buyers and sellers coming to the market, appetite to learn more about the complexities of the home moving process has never been more pronounced.

This latest Zooploma is the third of its kind to be launched by the portal, which previously has launched versions specifically for renters and first time buyers.

“When it comes to the home buying and selling process, knowledge is power, and our new Homemover Zooploma is designed to arm consumers with a guide to every step of the process,” says Knight.
