AllAgents hooks up with Google Reviews to offer ‘game changer’

Reviews platform launches initiative that enables agents to manage their public reviews on both platforms from one console.

Leading industry reviews website allAgents has added Google Reviews to its service offering, claiming the move as a ‘game changer’ for the estate agency sector.

This means agency customers who wish to leave reviews about an agents’ service will be able to post on both platforms via allAgents.

“There is now no need for estate agents having to make the difficult decision on whether to focus their attention on building reviews on Google, allAgents or both as we have taken care of it for them,” says allAgents founder Martin McKenzie (pictured).

His platform is the first to offer this dual service within a sector that has both expanded fast in recent years but also proven controversial at times.

There are now several different platforms that publish consumer reviews about estate agents which, on top of Google and allAgents, include Feefo and TrustPilot.

These reviews are crucial not just because they enable agents to win favourable scores through good customers service, but because they help improve local SEO and online visibility for an agent’s website. And sometimes this pressure to garner good reviews can go too far.

AllAgents is also well-known for its run-in with Purplebricks three years ago which led to legal threats flying over the plethora of one-star reviews of the agency on its platform, which at the time jarred with the very low number of poor reviews on other review platforms including  TrustPilot.

As well as a reviews site, allAgents also runs a ‘property portal’ and an awards scheme.
