Birmingham property agency Davidson Estates has ambitious plans for 2024 and has made its first acquisition since launching in England’s second City 12 years ago.

The city centre and Edgbaston-based estate and letting agency was founded by Ben Davidson in January 2009 and has now completed the first of what is intended to be a number of acquisitions this year after snapping up Jewellery Quarter letting and management agents Arkade Property.

UNDISCLOSED SUM

The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, is believed to be the first in a number planned over the coming months.

The move sees a total of eight staff join Davidson Estates permanently, including two directors as consultants, bringing total staff now to 15 in the firm’s Edgbaston head office and Colmore Row city centre branch.

Arkade was established by former property solicitor Andrew Kay and Beatriz Rose in 2001 and now includes directors Sybilla Rose, James Clapham and Carol McEntee.
