A new development at the centre of a huge regeneration scheme on the outskirts of Bristol is proving popular.

Barratt Homes’ Filwood Park, will have 150 homes. 10 have already been reserved ahead of the showhouse opening.

Barratt is creating a park which will offer plenty of space for leisure and recreation, with a focus on ecology native trees planted for shelter and wildlife and marginal planting and meadow grass to create habitats for insects.

Filwood Park will have two, three and four-bedroom homes, all built to be highly sustainable. Some form a crescent by the park, creating a strong design feature and sense of identity.

Local amenities include a cinema, restaurants, a school and supermarkets. Filwood Park is also close to Hengrove Park Leisure Centre.

Sales Director Andrea Pilgrim said, “In partnership with Homes England, we’ve worked hard to create this impressive new community. Filwood Park is proving to be a real success story and we’ve been thrilled with the level of interest from local people. So far we have already sold 10 properties.”
