Bruton of Sloane Street has partnered with the London Chamber Orchestra (LCO) for its 2018 programme. Andrew Kafkaris, Founding Partner at Bruton of Sloane Street, said, “It gives us the greatest pleasure to support LCO bringing classical music to people regardless of age and financial circumstance. This partnership represents Bruton’s commitment to the arts. We are also committed to working with ‘best-in-class’ partners at every level of our consultancy and strive to challenge industry conventions. LCO is renowned for its original events and we are proud to support its 2018 programme”.
At the first event, the emerging visual artist, Jack Coulter, will create a painting live during an LCO concert. Jack has synesthesia – a condition whereby he ‘sees’ sounds, what he creates on the canvas will be a literal transcription of what the Orchestra plays, created in real time. Benjamin Beilman will perform Mendelssohn’s violin concerto and the event will be broadcast on a screen above the Orchestra, and streamed live around the world.
Mark Redman, Chairman, London Chamber Orchestra said, “I am delighted that Bruton of Sloane Street has become an LCO partner. This commitment to concerts and our pioneering educational initiatives, reflects a shared vision to foster a strong, London community, providing accessible classical music experiences to all.” www.lco.co.uk/concerts
