Estate agency trainer and consultant Julian O’Dell’s fundraiser festival, Catfest (named after his wife Cat) last year raised £35,000 for Action Against Cancer – they aim to beat that total over the August Bank Holiday 2018.
The O’Dells are very grateful to supporters – TM Training & Development, Rightmove, Elevation Estate Agents, Land & New Homes Network, Reapit, The Negotiator magazine, Property Industry Eye, Cheffins, Manning Stainton Estate Agents, Moneypenny, Nock Deighton and PR Expert Jerry Lyons – and Tesco and RGR Garages.
Tickets for the mini-festival in the O’Dells’ garden in Hulcote, Milton Keynes include music, food and copious drink!
Musicians include Bootleg Blondie, Philippa Hanna and Catfest stars Straw Bear, The Alice Band and Fred’s House.
Action Against Cancer is a small charity with low overheads which undertakes research in establishing new treatments. Cat says, “As cancer patients, we all need hope. Research for cures or better treatment gives us that hope. We are therefore proud to support Action Against Cancer.”
Catfest also celebrates the fact that against all odds, Cat was told she was in remission in October 2016. Julian says, “We celebrate our miracle while raising money to ensure others celebrate their own miracles. Catfest is the best party, raising a great total makes the hard work worthwhile. get in touch if you’d like to join the fun or support the event.”
