A challenger lettings software firm has announced partnerships with Canopy, TDS and insurance broker the Alan Boswell Group three months after bagging £350,000 to develop its platform.

Yorlet was founded by young entrepreneurs Max Cartwright Will Stenhouse (main image) and offers agents an integrated suite of lettings products including, as well as the new partnerships, the ability to collect rent, remit payments and onboard landlord all online.

But their platform only began to really take off after the pair secured funding from Goldsmith Ventures,a recently-launched specialist venture capital firm from Pringle Capital, which is a major hub of angel investors.

It is designed for both one-branch and multi-branch estate agencies, and is already being used by initial customers.

New features

The new features include £5-a-pop tenant referencing via its partnership with Canopy, automatic deposit registration with TDS insured and rent guarantee protection via the Alan Boswell Group.

Yorlet brings together everything that’s required to successfully grow your agency online, consolidating the five or more fragmented and legacy systems that agencies rely on for pre-tenancy, referencing, payments, CRM and accounting,” says Maximillian.

“Working closely with a select group of expert agents in Q1, we identified their favourite suppliers, largest pain points and most requested features, packaging it all into one giant, free update.

“We’re excited to continue with this momentum into Q2 where we’ll be helping our customers grow revenue with a white-labelled landlord onboarding journey accompanied by a portal.”
