Chestertons appoints Benjamin German as the new Lettings Manager of its Richmond office

Link to recruitment newsBenjamin German has been appointed as the new Lettings Manager at Chestertons’ Richmond office. Benjamin has lived there for 30 years and has now clocked up over 10 years working as a letting agent in south-west London. He began as Trainee Negotiator at Chancellors in 2008, joining James Anderson in Barnes as a Senior Negotiator in 2011, progressing to Lettings Manager of their Putney office and then on to East Sheen.

Benjamin moves to Chestertons from Chancellors in Sunningdale where he worked with high value properties and clients surrounding the private schools. Benjamin says, “I’ve always heard great things about Chestertons and held them in high regard for both their ability and professionalism. I was very pleased when I saw that there was a position available at the company, which happened after a year of working in Sunningdale and I was at the point where I was missing working in Richmond.”

“The Richmond lettings market is active with quality stock being snapped up quickly. However, good stock is hard to come by currently and there is not enough available to meet demand. This is pushing prices up,” says Benjamin.

Daniel Fisher, South West London Regional Director at Chestertons, says: “Ben is the perfect fit for Richmond as he has grown up in the area, he is very calm natured and is the right person to deliver the exceptional service the house market around Richmond Hill expects. We are extremely pleased to welcome Ben to the Chestertons’ family.”
