The London Magazine Club Awards 2018 took place on 26th November at the Hotel Café Royal in London, celebrating the outstanding contribution of CLEA agents to the capital, to charity and to the industry.

Chestertons won the Special Charity Award, a category for significant contributions to charity and initiatives that have made a real difference to people’s lives in London.

The judges praised Chestertons for the variety of its fundraising and charitable work with St Mungo’s, Suited and Booted and Dogs Trust and its generosity of staff through its payroll giving scheme.

Anne Cuthbertson, Editor, The London Magazine, said, “Charity runs through the DNA of Chestertons and the variety of opportunities made accessible to everyone should be applauded. The generosity and commitment of Chestertons staff to charity is a credit to the industry.”

Tim Bates, Marketing Manager and Treasurer of Chestertons’ Charity Champions, said, “We aim to differentiate ourselves from others, using our size and expanse across London to help improve and build better communities in which we work. We focus on having a real impact and our involvement goes well beyond simply helping people to find a place to live. We are therefore delighted to receive such award which recognises our commitment to making a difference.”
