Collyers grows in South Hams

Collyers, the Experts in Property estate and lettings agency with a duo of branches in North Devon, has arrived in South Hams with the acquisition of a lettings agency in Kingsbridge.

Appledore Lettings, on Fore Street is now part of Collyers and has rebranded fascias, marketing material and advertising boards.

With a portfolio of 350 managed properties in the Barnstaple and Bideford areas of North Devon, the firm has been letting property since 2011 and has a growing bank of loyal landlords and tenants.

Collyers has retained two staff members in the Kingsbridge office – Nadine MacLennan, promoted to Branch Manager and Corinne Mcdonnel-Purbrick.

James Collyer, owner, is spending time in Kingsbridge to ensure a smooth transition for clients and is in the process of adding to the team. Collyers’ acquisition of Appledore Lettings has expanded its portfolio to 400+ properties, across North Devon and South Hams.

James said, “We were looking to expand and we chose South Hams as we know the area well and like it. We are pleased to keep Nadine and Corinne – they are both assets to the business with excellent customer and organisational skills, an existing rapport with local clients and a great deal of knowledge on the area and the properties within it.”
