Why should I not be allowed to decide who I rent my property out to? After all I worked hard to earn the money to buy it and I want it treated with respect.
Just like insurance companies discriminate according to your job, age etc. to mitigate risk why can a landlord use criteria to mitigate risk?

Thankfully my tenants left on July 4th 2020. But due to the Governments hate relationship with landlords the property is going on the market to be sold.

Thank God that my tenants left on 4 July 2020 and had no arrears. Simple answer now is we will not be renting the property out. Cannot face the risk of a non paying tenant racking up debts, not paying the Council Tax etc. with no recourse to justice. Plan is to sell it instead. The Government is anti-landlord.
