For landlords whose properties are managed by a letting agent, one of the biggest challenges is getting the information already held by their agent into an MTD-compatible system without having to manually recreate it from rental statements.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-vimeo su-u-responsive-media-yes\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1207202597?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;color=ffffff&amp;autoplay=0&amp;dnt=0&amp;muted=0&amp;texttrack=\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen title=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nexus solves that problem by connecting directly with the software letting agents already use.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nexus integrates with leading property management and client accounting platforms, including <strong>Reapit, PayProp, SME Professional, Alto and LettsPay<\/strong>. Rental income, management fees, expenses and property information recorded by the letting agent can be automatically brought into the landlord\u2019s Nexus account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of receiving a PDF statement and manually re-entering transactions into accounting or MTD software, landlords can log into Nexus and review the information already captured through their letting agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Landlords remain responsible for their tax records and submissions. They can review and amend their records, add additional transactions, include properties that are not managed by the connected letting agent, invite joint owners or other users, and provide access to their accountant where required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once their records are ready, Nexus provides the workflow needed to manage their quarterly Making Tax Digital obligations and submit the required information to HMRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Built to be hands-off for letting agents<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A key principle behind Nexus is that <strong>nothing needs to change in the agency\u2019s existing property management or client accounting workflow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agency continues managing the property in exactly the same way it does today. Nexus sits alongside its existing systems and gives landlords a dedicated MTD solution using the information the agency is already recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The onboarding process is also designed to minimise administration for agency teams. An agency can provide landlords with its unique Nexus signup route, allowing landlords to create their own account and connect to the relevant agency data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nexus then provides the software and support required by the landlord, rather than expecting letting agency teams to become bookkeepers, tax advisers or MTD support specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new recurring revenue opportunity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than MTD simply creating additional administration for letting agents, Nexus gives agencies an opportunity to generate recurring revenue from solving the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nexus costs <strong>\u00a312 + VAT per landlord per month<\/strong>, with participating agencies receiving <strong>25% recurring commission \u2014 \u00a33 per landlord per month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, if 300 managed landlords subscribe to Nexus, the agency could generate <strong>\u00a3900 per month, or \u00a310,800 per year, in recurring revenue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agency is not completing the landlord\u2019s bookkeeping or making their MTD submissions. It is introducing landlords to a solution they increasingly need while continuing to manage their properties as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Built for the UK lettings industry<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nexus has been developed in partnership with letting agencies and property technology providers to fit into the existing lettings ecosystem rather than asking agencies and landlords to adopt an entirely new way of working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach is already being adopted by some of the UK\u2019s leading letting agency businesses. <strong>Leaders Romans Group (LRG) selected Nexus as its preferred Making Tax Digital solution<\/strong>, making Nexus available across a network managing more than <strong>73,000 properties and 300 branches<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposition for agencies is therefore straightforward:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Solve Making Tax Digital for your landlords, without changing your existing workflow, while creating a new recurring revenue stream for your business.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":111275,"menu_order":17,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false},"exhibitor_category":[],"class_list":["post-111274","exhibitor","type-exhibitor","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","entry","has-media"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.8 -
