Countrywide, from daily repair jobs to end of tenancy property health checks and preparing a property to let. Countrywide worked with Heroes4Hire to create a maintenance concept that is easy for landlords and tenants. Each handyman has a five week training course covering decorating, joinery, plumbing, building, plastering.
The roll out programme began this month with local handymen based in Greater Manchester, South Manchester and Cheshire. This will be followed by a 12 month national roll-out.
Kim Lidbury, Director of Retail Property Management at Countrywide said, “This is one of the most exciting contractor projects we have been involved in, as not only is this a brilliant and worth-while business concept for ex-service men and women, but we are confident this will help us offer a great service to our landlords.”
Ex-serviceman Nigel Blanchard founded Heroes4Hire Handymen in which men and women are professionally trained as handymen by their charity partner Building Heroes, and are able to carry out a range of property maintenance jobs to high standards.
