Countrywide’s latest signing, Nick Hughes (right), demonstrates its preference for appointing people with retail expertise. Nick’s CV shows his experience in the leisure, hospitality and banking sectors.
His career includes senior appointments at Barclays, Kuoni and American Express where he managed a number of sales channels under retail, direct and web sales disciplines, with a key focus on customer experience.
Nick will also join the London Leadership Team led by Graham Bell, Managing Director for London at Countrywide plc. The London leadership team has a clear mandate as part of delivering the Group’s strategy to lead, manage and direct the growth of the London brands including Hamptons International’s network of 87 branches in London and the South.
