As the global Fine & Country network continues its 40,070km Around the World in 80 Days Challenge, the group reports a busy year of fundraising efforts already in support of The Foundation.

Fundraising imageIn April, Kai Griffin took on the Barcelona half marathon, 13 people completed the East Midlands Tough Mudder event, surpassing their fundraising target, and Elizabeth McGing from the South Manchester and East Cheshire office took on a 15,000ft sky dive, raising over £6,000.

A tennis tournament hosted at Olney Tennis Club went far from balls up, with £2,000 raised by Haydn Van Weenen and the team, and Tony and Jonathan Steers, Associate Director at Fine & Country Exeter, took on the challenge of cycling from Leeds to London, generating almost the same in donations.

The proceeds of all these combined charitable efforts will go directly to The Foundation to be distributed to charities through the Grant Programme and directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
