A fast-growing northern estate agency has snapped up a rival to add a fourth branch to its existing network.

Hardisty and Co, which covers North Leeds, Bradford, the Wharfe Valley and Aireborough, has acquired the business and branch of Armley agency Brooklands Robinson from its owner Nichola Ashby (pictured, above).

She is to remain with the business along with senior valuer Jamie Gathercole, area lettings manager Daniel Andrews and their experienced team of sales and lettings negotiators (pictured).

Hardisty and Co is a family owned, independent estate agency run by brothers Andrew and Ian Hardisty along with their wives, Tracey and Gemma.

Established in Horsforth as Waite & Co in 1992, Andrew took over the business in 2001 and has grown the company to employ a team of 53.

Expansion

He says: “This is a really exciting time for us as a business as we expand across Leeds. Our company has grown significantly over the past six years since re-branding to Hardisty and Co.

“The business has gone from strength to strength and with the incorporation of this fourth office, as well as expanding our residential sales, prestige, lettings, financial services, new homes and commercial divisions, we anticipate great things going forward.

“The past year has been really challenging for everyone and as a family and a business, we feel so privileged to be in a position to have been able to add our new office to the Hardisty network, creating exciting employment opportunities and also allowing us to support the local community in LS12 as we do within Horsforth, Guiseley and Otley branches.”
