The ladies of Fine & Country Solihull will be getting their guns out to raise money for vulnerable local women at the Three Lakes Gun Club in Tanworth in Arden for an exciting day of clay shooting for an important cause.
The day is open to both beginners and experienced shooters. For those who do not have their own guns, they can receive expert fittings to ensure that they are given the most suitable weapon for their size and experience level.
The women will be supervised by two experts, Owen Hastings and Sara Chambers. Among the list of their many titles and achievements, Owen has shot for Great Britain in the Olympics and Sara won the title of World Champion of English Shooting 2015.
Following the shoot, the ladies wil relax over lunch provided by Three Lakes Gun Club where they can find out more information about the reason they have gathered together. Through The Fine & Country Foundation, the women will be supporting Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid (BSWA). This women’s homeless charity is looking forward to starting a new project geared towards older women who have long-term abuse and isolation to merge them back into the community. The concept of ‘women helping women’ was key to the ladies of Fine & Country Solihull who are excited to see the impact their fundraiser will have upon these women in need of support.
