Boxing enthusiast and property expert Paul Shamplina is looking for industry people ready to take on his annual challenge to train for a public charity boxing contest.

“This includes agents, industry suppliers, developers and landlords willing to take the step into the ring – full support and training will be offered,” he says.

“It’s also an ideal opportunity to ‘get fit for summer, be a hero for six minutes, learn to box and raise money for charity’.

This will be the seventh year for his renowned Rumble with the Agents event, which so far has raised £115,000 for different charities and this year will be raising funds for a mental health organisation.

Held each year at a hotel in London, the formal event sees attendees enjoy a sit-down gala dinner event including several bouts of boxing and a charity raffle.

Shamplina says this may be the last time he boxes in public. Last year he had to withdraw at the last moment after contracting Covid, and says he’s got ‘one more year’ left in him.

“Last year we raised nearly £12,000 for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care (see right) and I was gutted not to be there,” he says.

“We will be confirming our chosen charity for this year’s even in the next couple of weeks.

Those wishing to attend should put Thursday 22nd September in their diaries.

It will take place at the Holiday Inn hotel at 58 Regents Park Road, N3 and will include a three-course dinner and unlimited drinks for £160 a ticket.

Find out more from the event website. Wannabe boxers should phone Paul direct on 07956 414 254 or email [email protected].
