A newly launched online platform for estate agents, which is designed to improve the onboarding process and speed up the home moving experienced, has secured the endorsement of The Guild of Property Professionals.

Movebutler from Iamproperty will be introduced to all new Guild members as part of the sign-up process and current members will be among the first to be offered new services on the platform as they become available.

Members choosing to activate core Movebutler modules will additionally benefit from free Title Registers on all property transactions, automatically highlighting material information upfront and any restrictions that agents should be aware of before onboarding their clients.

We’re really pleased to be taking this forward as part of our Movebutler journey and aim to eliminate the common frustrations with the moving process by completely digitising it, meaning a better experience for everyone involved.”

This affiliation comes as the property arm of National Trading Standards is looking to introduce guidance on what basic material information should be openly available on property listings for sale and to rent. A key function of Movebutler allows more information to be taken from clients upfront, meaning less likelihood of delays further into the process and fall-throughs.

Paul Offley, Compliance Officer for The Guild, says: “We are delighted with our partnership with the Iamproperty team and their latest innovation Movebutler, as this provides an automated solution for completion of the customer due diligence part in a way that is efficient for both the agent and the consumer, and helps identify and prevent criminal activity using the latest digital technology available.

“We also need to be mindful of the work being undertaken by the National Estate Agency Trading Standards team providing material information at the point of marketing and how agents can identify these facts at an early stage – Movebutler provides our members with that solution. With the compliance support we offer, and the solution Iamproperty Movebutler provides, we have a first-class way of keeping our members compliant and consumers treated fairly.”

Since officially launching last month, Movebutler has over 900 branches live and the backing of The Guild will likely support the platform to gain significant traction in the market.
