The Derby branch of estate agency haart has won a competitive bidding process to handle the sales for local high-profile 800-unit historic development Nightingale Quarter, to be constructed on the site of the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary.
Developers Wavensmere Homes are developing the Derby city centre site, named after the nurse Florence Nightingale, who was an adviser on the redesign and management of the hospital in the 1860s.
To service the new development, Haart has opened a new office and trebled the size of its previous office in St Janes’ Street and is already handling enquiries for the first apartments and houses, which will soon be released for sale.
Claire Drewett (above, right), Divisional Sales Director for haart Land and New Homes, says: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen to market this development. It’s a huge site and we’re proud to be involved.
“Developers are recognising the importance of our local knowledge backed up by our FLINK marketing technology – exclusive to us in the UK. This uses social media to find buyers that don’t even know they are looking, resulting in a quicker sale and a better price.”
Haart branch partner Aaron Ottewell says: “The market here is strong, both within the city and surrounding villages, and our expert teams are backed by state-of-the-art marketing, including our unique FLINK technology, that helps buyers find the home of their dreams.”
Wavensmere’s directors were impressed by haart’s knowledge and professionalism during a highly competitive interview process. Homes Sales Director Donna Smith (above, left) said, “Once we met with haart we knew they were the right agents for The Nightingale Quarter that is already proving incredibly popular. Bringing in such an experienced agency was very important to us. We anticipate buyers from all over the country to be attracted to this flagship development.”
