Hamptons International wins Special Commendation 2016

Hamptons fundraisingHamptons International employee, Gabriella Farrow, has been awarded a Corporate Charity Champion of the Year Special Commendation, by its charity partner, Cancer Research.

Gabriella is a Marketing Assistant at Hamptons International and has been responsible for the Cancer Research partnership since she joined in July 2015. Gabriella works with the Hamptons International network to ensure each office hits its fundraising targets, arranging corporate fundraising events.

For World Cancer Day, Hamptons International employees raised £14,000 by selling wristbands, collecting at tube stations and donating clothes which raised £11,000 at Cancer Research shops. In the Hamptons International annual ‘Relay around the Regions,’ 300 employees travelled a 1000 km in dragon boats, on roller-skates and other transport, raising £13,000.

Hamptons International has raised more than £200,000 for Cancer Research and is excited to continue its partnership in 2017. Lesley Cairns, MD, says, “We are so proud that Gabriella’s hard work and commitment to our partner, Cancer Research, has been recognised. Gaby works tirelessly to engage and motivate colleagues and has helped us to raise tens of thousands of pounds as a result.”
