Hamptons is to debut a new TV ad on Boxing day, the first estate agency to announce a post-Xmas marketing push.

hamptonsTo run as both 30-second and 60-second versions, it will be shown on Sky on 26th December and Channel 4 during the firlm Jumanji on the 28th December and then roll out during the rest of the festive season and into the New Year on Channel 4, Sky and Virgin channels.

The advert takes the viewer on a toddler’s journey of discovery seen through his eyes and exploring the powerful connection of wonder we experience when moving into the home of our dreams.

The viewer lives with the child in these moments, as the toddler roams from room to room, whilst his parents unpack boxes and settle into their new home.

Produced by agency Stillpool with director Ed McCulloch, the new TV advert is part of a major integrated campaign that will run across all media channels including later on print, social media, mobile.

It also the first time that Hamptons is to advertise digitally across a number of different podcasts including programmes on BBC Sounds, The Guardian and The Economist.

Lesley Cairns (pictured), MD of Hamptons, says: “We have created an ad which we hope will strike a chord with viewers.

“Grounded in real human emotion, it aims to capture the feelings of awe and excitement that is felt that first time you lay eyes on your future home.

“And what better way to capture this emotion than through the eyes of a child: a visual representation of their powerful connection to wonder. It’s a feeling that most can relate to; be it about your first rental, your dream home, or that property that provides you sanctuary.”

McCulloch adds: “It was an absolute pleasure bringing these beautiful moments to life. Each one is filled with warmth and humanity, it’s something we can watch again and again.”
