Harding Green, one of the growing number of estate agency firms to adopt the US-style broker business model, has signed up its first franchisee.

The London-based estate agency, which was founded in 2017 by former Chestertons high-flier Nick Carter and already has nearly 30 consultants working as self-employed estate agents under its brand, has signed up Jack Graham-Lindsey (pictured) as its first franchisee after a spell working as a consultant.

Graham-Lindsey worked for two of the capital’s biggest agency’s – Dexters and Marsh & Parsons, before joining Harding Green.

He will be opening a branch in Little Venice, North London next year although he will be covering several adjoining neighbourhoods including St John’s and Maida Vale.

Six-figure income

The 30-year-old has proved one of Harding Green’s star self-employed consultants since joining a year ago, and the company says he has already earned a take-home income ‘well into six figures’.

“I am delighted to have been given the chance to open the second Harding Green office, giving another base for Consultants to work from,” he says.

“The brand is going from strength to strength throughout Northwest London, and this is the natural next step in both my own and Harding Green’s long-term growth plans.”

“For those agents who have the desire to make the move to self-employment, it is hard to know of another company that provides the same level of business support from day one. Something that has been instrumental in the growth of my own business to date.”

Harding Green is set to use this franchise model to spread across London and eventually the UK, initially focusing on Mayfair, East London, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Sussex.
