L to R: Alan Goldin sealing the deal with Paul Ruocco from Home Minders

Home Minders, based in New Southgate, has acquired the lettings and sales business, Alan Goldin Estates. It’s the third acquisition for the north London agent, following Simon Clarke in 2014 and Stark Joseph in 2016, and nearly doubles the properties on its books to over 400.

Initially the two businesses will be run in parallel but benefit from sharing strategic goals, staff, facilities and services. Alan Goldin Estates, which was founded in 1992, will continue to trade from its prime office location in Temple Fortune and proprietor, Alan Goldin will oversee a handover.

Managing Director of Home Minders, Paul Ruocco, said: “We are excited by the opportunities this expansion gives us. Alan Goldin has an enviable reputation and is predominantly a lettings agency based in Temple Fortune. Not only is it a good fit with Home Minders, where the focus is on property management and maintenance, but we believe our core values and working philosophy are aligned. We are bringing our management expertise to the Alan Goldin business and it expands our reach across north London.”

Over time, the Alan Goldin brand will be absorbed into the Home Minders group.
