Hunters have opened in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, adding to their fast expanding network. The new branch will offer a full sales and lettings service for residential property and is part of an expansion plan announced in its trading update released in December last year.

Hunters, which was started up by brothers Keith and Kevin Holinrake – who latter of whom s currently the MP for Thirsk and Malton, opened its first office in York in 1992 and its first franchising branch in 2006. It is now the UK’s sixth-largest estate agency group.

The company, which floated on London’s Alternative Investment Market in 2015 with the aim of expanding to 500 branches, has a network of over 180 branches nationwide, with offices in a number of key regions across the UK including London, Oxford, Norwich, Middlesbrough and Manchester. It’s income from franchisees last year was £29 million, up from £23.4 million in 2014.

Its services cover residential sales, lettings, buy-to-let and investment, residential block management, land and new homes, franchising and other property related services.
