Upmarket estate agency Jackson-Stops has opened two new operations straight out of lockdown, one in Ipswich and the other in Woking, Surrey taking its national total to 46 branches.
These are also its first since opening since a branch was launched in Lindfield, Sussex in May last year.
Sarah Walsh has joined the Jackson-Stops network from Savills to set up a Land & New Homes department in Ipswich, while Robert Butterworth, former Head of Residential Agency of the London offices, is heading up a cold start in Woking, Surrey.
She joins the agency’s existing Ipswich branch after almost four years at Savills, where she was involved in residential development strategies, pricing, innovative marketing, and legal progression.
Fitting next step
“I’ve worked within the residential market in Ipswich for many years but have always been interested in the growing amount of development unfolding in the area, and so when the opportunity arose for me to join the Jackson-Stops Ipswich branch as its Head of New Homes it was a fitting next step,” she says.
Butterworth is heading up Jackson-Stops new Woking branch, which launched earlier this month, and will be supported by a team of seasoned professionals.
The new branch is in a prime location off Woking’s high street and will be serving the immediate surrounding area and locations up to the M25 and west of the A3.
“I have lived in the area for 30 years, having grown up between Woking and Guildford and I am very familiar with the traditional housing stock and current market trends,” says Butterworth.
