Countrywide brand John D Wood & Co has moved into posh new headquarters in, naturally, Belgravia as the firm marks its 150th year of trading.

The firm hasn’t wandered too far (just 1.2 miles) from its original HQ. John D Wood & Co was established 150 years ago by John Daniel Wood, who opened the doors to their first office at No. 6 Mount Street, Mayfair in 1872.

As well as a new HQ (pictured), the agency also recently upgraded its Chiswick office, moving to a larger, more prominently-located site.

The firm has 26 branches across London and the Home counties including in Notting Hill, the King’s Road and Kensington.
