Knight Frank has made the unusual move to promote 89 estate agency staff within its residential business in one go.
These promotions include people taking the step up to Associate or Partner in the firm and are among a total of 159 people moving up within the company in total.
The residential promotions include sales and lettings across the UK as well as people working in other sectors such as commercial, tech, charities and education and project/building consultancy.
This move is unusual because Knight Frank usually drip feeds these promotions through on an almost daily basis, rather than all in one go and is to help retain staff who’ve slogged through the pandemic months.
Alistair Elliott, Senior Partner and Group Chairman at Knight Frank (pictured), says: “Despite a challenging year, the firm has outperformed all expectations.
“This robust performance, against a backdrop of some of the toughest trading conditions we have ever experienced, is a true testament to our brilliant people and unique Partnership structure.
“It gives me great pleasure to be able to recognise this superb performance by promoting 159 from across the firm.
“These promotions celebrate dedication and hard work and are part of our ongoing strategy to retain and attract the best people in the market. I wish them huge congratulations.”
According to Glass Door, Knight Frank associate employees can earn up to £70,000 a year while partners, depending on their individual responsibilities, can hit £140,000 and sometimes much more.
