Leaders raises £20,000 for Together for Short Lives

Leaders fundraising imageStaff at Leaders took part in a variety of events in support of Children’s Hospice Week.

From raffles, cake sales, quizzes and sponsored challenges, to lucky dips, tea parties, car washes and fancy dress – their efforts raised £20,000 for Together for Short Lives.

Each Leaders branch partners with its nearest children’s hospice so staff and customers can locally support seriously ill children and their families.

Paul Weller, Leaders’ CEO, said, “We are delighted to have raised such an excellent sum of money during Children’s Hospice Week. We are very grateful to everyone who supported us; and the many Leaders landlords who opted to donate one or more days’ rent which significantly boosted our fundraising.”

Nick Appleby, corporate fundraising manager at Together for Short Lives said, “The support from everyone at Leaders is absolutely fantastic. To raise £20,000 from their efforts during Children’s Hospice Week is an outstanding achievement.”
