Lomond Capital has announced two further agency acquisitions, in Manchester and Brighton.
The purchase of South Manchester sales and lettings agent, Hallmark Residential, follows the purchase of Tanat- Jones & Company in Brighton and Hove as Lomond continues its expansion in the South and plans its imminent entry to the London market.
Bruce Evans, CEO of Lomond Capital, said, “We finished 2017 with two great deals that strengthen our position in two key regions – the South as we look to the London market, and the North West where Hallmark Residential marks our seventh acquisition.
“Bringing Hallmark Residential into our fold enhances our position in this important market.
“We continue to look for quality business in key regions around the UK and we aim to push into new markets which could dramatically change the value of our portfolio.”
Tanat-Jones & Company is one of Brighton’s most well established letting agencies and is Lomond’s second acquisition in the city since purchasing Brand Vaughan in March. It brings its total number of properties under management in the region to over 1,500. Tanat-Jones & Company will trade as Brand Vaughan.
Bruce added, “Bringing Tanat-Jones into our portfolio firmly establishes our presence in Brighton and provides us with a genuine anchor in one of the UK’s most active rental markets.
“The Tanat-Jones reputation is fantastic and this deal really complements our approach to Brighton, which is delivered through Brand Vaughan.”
