Representatives of East Leeds FC called into the Crossgates branch to receive the kit from Manager Lesley Robinson ahead of the forthcoming season.
Team Manager Matthew Nealon said, “It is a fantastic gesture by Manning Stainton to sponsor our new kit and we will certainly be the envy of all the other teams in the league. Hopefully our performances will match our appearance.”
Matthew formed East Leeds FC seven years ago and the team now competes in the Leeds Combination Division 1 as well as the Leeds Sunday Summer League. They play their home games at Skelton Road in the East End Park area of the city.
Lesley added, “We know how hard it is for local teams to raise the funds to cover things like pitch hire, equipment and referees so it has been a real pleasure helping the lads out. We look forward to keeping an eye out for their results.”
Manning Stainton has helped East Leeds FC through its on-going Community Support Programme which has donated in excess of £50,000 to over 50 clubs, schools and other worthwhile organisations in the last 12 months. Other beneficiaries have included Grimes Dyke Primary School.
