Marsh & Parsons has raised over £25,000 for blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, exceeding its fundraising target for the year.

Employees have championed a variety of charitable activities and challenges including Tough Mudder, The Three Peaks Challenge, Prudential Ride London as well as hosting raffles, quizzes, rounders and rugby matches and BBQs. The fundraising finale was the ‘Run For A Life’ relay, on the 18th October. It involved teams from all 31 branches running a 55-mile course across the capital from office to office, starting and finishing at the Hammersmith HQ. It took nine hours to complete and raised a grand total of £2,680.

Patrick Littlemore, CEO, said; “I couldn’t be more proud. It’s been a brilliant opportunity to come together as a company and focus on raising as much money as possible and awareness for such an important and life-saving charity. Our £25,000 donation will provide vital funding for Anthony Nolan to continue the search to find stem cell donors for patients with blood cancers and blood disorders who desperately need a transplant.”

Henny Braund, CEO at Anthony Nolan, said; “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to staff at Marsh & Parsons. Through enthusiastically embracing the partnership: your running, hiking, quizzing and cooking, you’ve raised £25 000, every penny of which will allow us to save more lives.”
