After 35 years at the helm at Andrews Property Group, Michael Robson has stepped down as Chief Executive of the Keynsham-headquartered property business.
David Westgate, Managing Director of the group’s lettings and management business for the last 20 years has assumed the role of Group Chief Executive with immediate effect.
Michael joined Andrews 40 years ago and became the Group Chief Executive just five years later. He has overseen significant growth in the business; spearheaded the introduction of industry-leading technology; and personally won several awards.
Michael said, “Having had the privilege of working with some outstanding people at Andrews, it was not an easy decision to retire but David is the best person to lead the group in to the next era. His considerable experience will serve him and the business well.” The new Group Chief Executive, David Westgate added, “I’m very much looking forward to the challenge ahead. Andrews is thriving; we are growing in key strategic areas and we have the very best team in the industry. I’m confident that we have a very positive future ahead of us and am delighted to be leading the team moving forward.”
Alison Nunez will now lead its Lettings and Management business following her departure from Countrywide where she had spent 15 years. Alison was most recently Countrywide’s Retail Director for the South of England and previously she was Lettings Director for South and Central England. Alison said, “I feel very lucky and excited to be joining at this time as David takes up the leadership role and the group’s new branding continues to be rolled out.”
David Westgate added: “Alison has vast experience gained throughout her career and we’re delighted that she’s joined Andrews Property Group at this exciting time. I am confident that she’ll be an enormous asset to the entire group.”
