Morton Fraser expands Residential team

Joanne Cruickshank imageJoanne Cruickshank has joined the independent Scottish law firm, Morton Fraser as Legal Director in its Residential Property team.

Joanne has 26 years of experience and strong credentials in property law, having previously been a Partner at Pagan Osborne, Aberdein Considine and Raeburn Christie Clarke and Wallace.

She will take on leadership responsibility for Morton Fraser’s conveyancing services in its Residential Property team and will work alongside Head of Estate Agency, Denise McKenzie.

The firm’s Residential Property team has seen impressive growth and an increase in market share since Denise joined Morton Fraser in 2012 and took on the role of Head of Estate Agency in 2016. According to ESPC it delivered an almost nine per cent increase in sales last year despite a downturn in the market over that period. During 2017 the team also increased its average selling price by 13 per cent, more and achieved a 23 per cent increase in the total value of sales.

Chris Harte, Chief Executive, said, “Joanne has a great track record and her appointment, in the new Legal Director role, was a natural choice. As an independent firm, we pride ourselves on providing clear advice to our clients and employing the very best talent. I welcome Joanne and am confident she will support Denise in driving the success of the team further still.”
