A leading commercial property firm has launched a residential estate agency  arm and has already bagged its first instruction – a contract to sell 22 homes on behalf of a developer.

Bowman Rebecchi, which is well-known in Scotland for its commercial property track record, has recruited a high profile agent to lead its new residential operation.

She is Linda Swan (main picture), who joins the firm as Sales Director with an initial focus on residential sales throughout the west coast of Scotland.

With over 10 years of experience in the property sector, Swan joins Bowman Rebecchi from Blair & Bryden, where she was Senior Estate Agent having previously worked at Greenock law firm Patten and Prentice as a conveyancing paralegal.

Bowman Rebecchi already has a residential lettings business after buying Castle Estates last year, and this will be added to the new sales arm to create a fully-fledged estate agency arm.

Strength

“Given the strength of the existing businesses, there are significant opportunities within residential sales for the Bowman Rebecchi group and I’m looking forward to supporting these,” she says.

Bowman Rebecchi Estate Agents has been appointed to oversee the sales of The McPherson Development in Gourock, which will provide 22 new 3-bed homes in partnership with Globe Homes and City Gate Construction.

“This is a great example of the group collaborating, from architectural to estate agency, via the commercial arm of the business that supported the sale of the land. This is a solid model for us to grow and develop from for further clients,” says Andrew Bowman, one of the firms directors.

The new agency will have branches in Gourock and Glasgow.
