Estate agents to star as avatars in own ‘Avatar’ property film
Proptech specialists EyeSpy360 are marketing a virtual tour product presented by cloned agents.
Ever wanted to star in your own movie? Estate agents are now being given ‘a world first’ opportunity to become avatars in a property film.
Proptech firm EyeSpy360 has launched a new virtual tour product presented by avatars, which can be the clone image of an estate agent.
Any agent signing up to one of the EyeSpy packages only has to record a two-minute video of themselves and the technology does the rest, creating the cloned avatar.
The product is reminiscent of the ‘Avatar’ films made by director James Cameron.
‘World first’
Andrew Nicholls, CEO at EyeSpy360, told The Neg: “This is a brilliant new product that is a world first for estate agents.
“We are seeing a lot of interest from agents because they can sell [a property] in different languages,” he says.
“It makes it [the sales process] more efficient, which in this market you need to be to survive.”
100 languages
The EyeSpy AI avatar packages are priced at £15 per virtual tour on a pay as you go basis, or £12.99 per month for a subscription, which includes one tour every month.
One of the main features of the avatar product is that it is available in more than 100 languages, with the avatars automatically speaking in translation. So it could be particularly attractive to agents marketing overseas.
Re/Max deal
Links to the avatar tours can be sent to potential buyers via text and social media including WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
Most of EyeSpy’s existing customers are in the United States, and it recently announced a deal with American real estate giant RE/MAX, but the company is looking to expand in the UK.
