OnTheMarket seeks to become ‘part of the branch team’ following tech launch

Portal has revealed Your Property Services, which is a valuations-based telephone lead generator to help agent teams source instructions.

OnTheMarket (OTM) has this morning launched a phone-based service that enables sales and lettings customers to manage their data to help generate extra revenue and instructions through valuations.

This is part of its drive to become a ‘one stop’ shop for proptech and differentiate itself from Rightmove and Zoopla other than being agent owned.

Called Your Property Services (YPs) it is similar to several third-party services available elsewhere and like some of them acts as an extension of an estate agency’s in-house team, nurturing their database to deliver valuations and create a pipeline of well-qualified and ‘motivated leads’.

OTM’s YPS team will be by each agency on the details of their business so that engagement is tailored to their ‘tone of voice’.

Also, YPS uses local area number that matches to the branch to provide for familiarity and consistent service for their local customers.

OTM reveals that the system was piloted last year, receiving positive feedback, and already counts Carter Jonas and Dawsons, amongst others, as customers.
