Investors plough £800k into off-market property listings platform

Invisible Homes’ product allows buyers to register their search criteria in one place and are matched with off-market homes that meet their requirements.

Invisible Homes, the UK’s first platform linking buyers with London estate agents’ off-market property listings, has secured £800,000 investment funding.

Some £500,000 was initially committed by existing investors and when an additional £100,000 was offered to users, the investment round was oversubscribed and reached £800,000 in just three weeks.

OFF-MARKET

Around one in four London homes is sold off-market. Invisible Homes’ product allows buyers to register their search criteria in one place, rather than with each agency individually.

They are immediately matched with off-market homes that meet their requirements, while AI curation uncovers appropriate listings beyond their main search parameters.

Mark Wells, Founder and Chief Executive of Invisible Homes, says: “The enthusiastic backing from home buyers using our property platform in this investment round represents a strong endorsement of our business – from those who know us best.”

Invisible Homes has already trebled its marketing spend to attract more buyers in its existing London footprint of over eight boroughs and expects to reach over 100,000 buyer registrations by the end of this year.

SPEED UP PLANS

Wells adds: “The funding of £800,000 allows us to speed up our growth plans from our current Central and West London footprint, to cover the whole of London and the Home Counties in the next two years.

“The £100,000 target from users was reached in three days. After two weeks, over 60 potential investors had declared an interest which resulted in a further £200,000 and several more investors look likely to join.”

Matt Hallissey, Invisible Homes’ Chief Operating Officer, says: “Invisible Homes is investing in its tech platform to improve and deepen the role of AI to connect buyers with potential dream homes they wouldn’t otherwise consider, alongside exclusively listed homes that are a more conventional match for their preferences.

“We are looking forward to expanding further across London boroughs and into the Home Counties so that more buyers can be helped by the Invisible Homes platform.”
