A proptech firm seeking to help agents comply with the latest material information regulations from Trading Standards has partnered with lettings software giant Alto.

Moverly, whose founders include former online estate agent Gemma Young, has now integrated its material information solution into Alto’s CRM.

Young says this significantly simplifies compliance for agents using Alto and reduce the time taken to comply from approximately an hour per property to produce manually, to ‘moments’.

Material information is rapidly moving up the industry’s agenda following Trading Standards’ latest regulations, and commitments from the portals to be compliant and bear down on agents who don’t supply all the required info within their XML feeds.

Moverly’s solution offers agents a user-friendly way to handle these obligations, and follows a similar announcement by Rightmove that it had signed a deal with Coadjute.

Moverly gathers live data from digital sources such as HM Land Registry, OfCom and national search providers to collate and verify its Material Information packs. These are supplemented by vendor-provided information.
The platform also offers an optional and integrated KYC/AML verification step, further streamlining the compliance process.

Significant step

Gemma Young, CEO of Moverly, (main pic, right, inset) says, “This partnership with Alto is a significant step towards achieving a digital transformation in property transactions, making life easier for estate agents and home movers.”

Moverly is also the first commercial data platform to fully embrace the emerging Property Data Trust Framework open standards, aligning with the vision of influential industry groups like the Digital Property Market Steering Group and the Open Property Data Association.

…an innovative and efficient tool that addresses the challenges posed by new trading standards.”

Both Moverly and Alto say this integration can “drive adoption of these new industry standards, bringing the industry closer to a fully digital home buying and selling process”.

Riccardo Dawson, Chief Operating Officer (main pic, left, inset) of Software at Alto and Houseful adds: “Partnering with Moverly allows us to provide estate agents with an innovative and efficient tool that addresses the challenges posed by new trading standards. Moverly’s solution seamlessly integrates into our ecosystem, providing immediate benefits to our users.”
