Nicolas Van Patrick hires Alice Umfreville

Link to the property industry's movers and shakersKnightsbridge agency Nicolas Van Patrick (NVP) has recruited Alice Umfreville to manage its lettings department. Alice previously worked with NVP founders Patrick Alvarado and Nic Pejacsevich at Douglas & Gordon, before moving onto Strutt & Parker in Chelsea. Alice, daughter of ex-WA Ellis industry legend Simon Umfreville, has an extensive property pedigree and experience. ARLA qualified, she started her career as an administrator, then a Lettings Manager in 2009. NVP, which purchased Knightsbridge agent Hobart Slater in 2017, is poised for further growth and Alice will help the firm to realise this.

Alice said, “When the chance to work again with Nic and Patrick came up, I jumped at it, with the freedom to work how I want and to be trusted to do that, is a breath of fresh air. I watched Nic and Patrick, they are doing very well – who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?’

Patrick Alvarado, Director added, “We want to grow our business and expand while at the same time maintaining our boutique agency feel. As we are not part of a big corporate agency, we have the freedom to work in the best way for our clients. The sales market is tricky and price-sensitive, so the lettings market has become an important part of our business, which we are keen to expand.”
