Nicolas Van Patrick hires Alice Umfreville

Link to news of Who Goes WhereKnightsbridge estate agency Nicolas Van Patrick (NVP) has recruited Alice Umfreville to manage its lettings department. Alice previously worked with NVP founders Patrick Alvarado and Nic Pejacsevich at Douglas & Gordon, before moving to Strutt & Parker to head a lettings department.

Alice, daughter of ex-WA Ellis industry legend Simon Umfreville, has an extensive experience in the lettings business. She is ARL-qualified having started her career as an administrator, transitioning to negotiator and onto a Lettings Manager, a role she has held since 2009. NVP, which purchased Knightsbridge agent Hobart Slater in 2017, is poised for further growth and Alice’s appointment will help the firm to realise this.

Alice said, “When the opportunity to work again with Nic and Patrick came up, I jumped at it. Having worked in the big corporates, the freedom to work how I want and to be trusted to do that, is a breath of fresh air. I have watched Nic and Patrick grow the business and heard only good things. They are doing very well and have a great reputation – who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?’

”Patrick Alvarado, Director said, “We want to grow our business and expand while at the same time maintaining our boutique agency feel. The sales market is tricky and price-sensitive, so the lettings market has become an important part of our business, which we are keen to expand.”
