Northwood Reading & Newbury franchisee, Mitch Mitchison, has doubled the size of his business overnight following the acquisition of Jon Rosi Management.
“I am very pleased that the acquisition of Jon Rosi Management, Reading has completed, as we have been working on this for some time,” said Mitch. “It was a very attractive proposition for me, as although the business offers a residential sales service, it is primarily a lettings agency with a large portfolio, and it has doubled the size of my business overnight.
“Jon Rosi has been a successful family-run lettings agency in Reading for about 24 years and has a very good reputation. The previous owners worked very hard to establish an excellent relationship with their landlords, and that is something that has always been important to me at Northwood Reading & Newbury. I would like to reassure all new and existing clients that they can look forward to receiving continued high levels of customer service from our own family-run business, with all the additional benefits of being part of the Northwood franchise group.
“We have no plans to make big changes to the business, and I am delighted that the team at Jon Rosi will be remaining with us, as this will help to ensure a smooth transition for all of our valued customers.”
Northwood MD Phil Gee said: “Franchisee-led acquisition remains a significant growth strategy for the Northwood brand, and franchisees have already completed on five acquisitions this year. There are also several more franchisee-led acquisitions in the pipeline, as well as some excellent resale opportunities.”
