CRM sales boost for OTM proptech acquisition Teclet

Lettings management tool getting sales makeover, OTM chairman reveals in latest City update.

OnTheMarket’s Teclet lettings CRM system is being repurposed further to target the sales market.

Speaking at the Group’s Annual General Meeting yesterday non-executive chairman Christopher Bell said that as part of OnTheMarket’s four-pillar strategy, its software solutions pillar would continue the “development of a CRM system and an associated product targeted at the sales market, complementing the Teclet lettings product already available”.

The Teclet sales tool already provides an end-to-end platform from listing to completion and reduces admin by automating over 50% of the sales process as well as aiding compliance.

The white label platform operates 24/7 and already offers and end to end solution including automated compliance, e-document signing, document storage and technical support.

Now more development looks like it is in the pipeline.

STRATEGY

As well as software solutions the three other strategy pillars include the portal itself, which has already been refreshed; data and market intelligence and its commercial partnership with Sprift Technologies as well as communications and marketing which will see a new TV ad campaign to generate leads.

Earlier this month Teclet integrated with Kamma in a bid to reduce the burden of compliance for lettings agency and property management users.

The integration enables automated licensing checks from initial listing, through pre-tenancy and then ongoing, alerting agents and landlords immediately if there are any changes.
