Online mortgage broker Trussle has joined forces with a home moving advice website founded by TV star Phil Spencer in a bid to speed up the homebuying journey.

Move iQ chose Trussle as its recommended mortgage broker and, as exclusive sponsor for the latest series of Spencer’s property podcast, its advisors will join the TV stalwart to help guide buyers through the home financing process.

The podcast answers frequently asked questions as well as advising buyers on how to get the most out of working with a mortgage broker.

The collaboration aims to create a cohesive home buying journey from a very early stage, with Trussle and Move iQ promising to share up-to-date market intelligence with consumers.

Amanda Aumonier (main pic), Trussle’s head of mortgage operations, says: “We have invested heavily in our technology platform to ensure our customers can apply for the best mortgage deals as quickly and as stress-free as possible.

“This partnership is an extension of that proposition and we are looking forward to working with Move iQ to help guide buyers through the home buying journey.”

Trussle’s Speed Promise – integrating professional mortgage brokers – offers buyers a decision on their mortgage within five days from selected lenders, giving them greater certainty from an early stage in the application process and guiding them step-by-step through the process.

The two companies share a digitally savvy customer base, with 80% of Move iQ’s audience engaging with the brand online and Trussle being the UK’s first truly online mortgage broker.
