The launch of a property management software solution, PropertyCloud, aims to revolutionise the student and HMO lettings market by automating the entire rental process with a single integrated, comprehensive package.

Cloud-based web application, PropertyCloud was developed in partnership by Liverpool-based student specialists, Rooms4u and software experts, Mashbo. Essential features include automated rent collection, contract generation, signing, online viewing bookings, the logging and management of maintenance issues and feedback tools.

The features are all hosted in one place and work seamlessly together. Currently it manages four student portfolios, with 1,400 tenants and 83 landlords.

Adam Ormesher, at student lettings agency Rooms4u, said, “The PropertyCloud application was born out of our own frustration at the lack of a software solution that was fit to step up to the unique challenges facing our business and in the student lettings sector.

“It is cloud-based, accessible on all devices so we are able offer more flexible working. Instead of staying open until 8pm at night in busy periods we can close the office at 4:30pm and be available for our customers.”

Steve Todd, Technical Director, Mashbo, said, “Agents will benefit from the automation of day-to-day processes and enable them to scale their business by expanding their portfolios outside of their physical locations through the use of cloud technology.”
