An exciting new Garden Village is planned for Rutland. 7,500 new homes, including affordable homes and associated amenities may be built on land adjacent to the A1 on the former Woolfox airfield between Empingham and Greetham.
The proposed development is promoted as an alternative location to meet the identified local housing requirement.
Andrew Granger, Consultant on behalf of Woolfox Garden Village said, “The concept of Woolfox Garden Village is to establish a thriving new community, where people can live and work without having to travel outside of the county.
“We are thrilled to be able to reveal plans to the general public, which are naturally at a very early stage however we are committed to working closely with Rutland County Council to deliver the vision.
“The community will include significant amounts of affordable housing along with associated amenities.”
At this stage, the process is driven by a hugely experienced consultancy team, directly under the stewardship of the landowner. At an appropriate time, a lead developer will be appointed.”
