Rettie & Co.’s new Director

Rettie & Co. imageRettie & Co has appointed Karen Turner, a former Property Director at Pagan Osborne, as Director of Lettings as the Scottish property firm looks to rollout its asset management offering.

Tasked with developing the private client and institutional base while building the lettings business beyond its traditional strongholds, Karen will work closely with Head of Private Rented Sector and Build to Rent, Hazel Sharp Webb.

Rettie & Co has £1 billion of residential assets under management. Rettie & Co’s Managing Director, Simon Rettie, said, “Karen’s appointment marks a significant strategic appointment as the business enters its next phase of growth. We see Karen bringing a different approach to the lettings side of the business and her hire illustrates our ambition to build on the asset management approach we already offer clients.”

Karen said, “Rettie & Co is particularly well positioned to introduce clients to the business at the outset by sourcing properties, then continuing that service right through to management whether that is for one or one hundred properties. Adding in a market-leading research unit under John Boyle, it’s arguably the most well-rounded offering on Scotland’s real estate scene.”
